The Kybella Project featuring Dr. Bessie
On November 14th, I decided to inject Kybella in my chin and neck area! I wanted to be able to share may experiences with you. For those of you who haven't been following The Kybella Project on our Facebook page here it is for you to see first hand!
November 14th, 2017- Prepping 1st treatment
November 14th,
The Kybella Project:
Immediately afterward! That was nearly painless actually. We’ll see how it feels later. I’ll let you know!!!

An hour and a half later. It feels a little sore, not too bad. I’m definitely starting to see some swelling!
The Kybella Project: November 14th, 2017
It’s a bit more swollen, and a little sensitive to pressure. I just washed my face and I had to be careful not to press too hard over that area. Otherwise it’s not interfering with my life! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
The Kybella Project: November 15th, 2017
So, not bad this morning! I look like I did with a bit more weight on me. It’s only slightly sore, and less red than yesterday. So far so good!
The Kybella Project: November 17th
Ok, so it’s not how I want to look all of the time, but I can deal with it. Some tiny injections under my chin, a little swelling for a while, rinse, repeat, and hopefully I get to have the defined chin I’ve always wanted!!

The Kybella Project: November 20th, 2017
It’s been 1 week since the Kybella injections under my chin. There is still some swelling but it has gone down quite a bit. It feels sore if I put firm pressure on it, but otherwise I don’t feel anything. It’s not noticeable to other people from what I’ve been told, until I point it out of course!!
I put my skincare products on as per usual. Especially my TNS to help with skin tightening. Can’t forget that ever!!

Ok, it’s been 2 weeks since I did Kybella on myself. I feel like it’s just about back to normal. I have to wait about 2 more weeks and then do another treatment. There will probably be more swelling then, but likely less than the first treatment. Then I get to wait for the results!!!
It’s still a little numb, but I hardly notice.
The first pic is today.
The second pic is from the right after I did the injections, for comparison.

The Kybella Project: December 19th, 2017
Soooo, it’s been a little over a month since my first treatment. I’m pretty sure there are already changes because people keep saying that I look like I’ve lost weight, but I haven’t! I’m certain it’s because of the Kybella. There’s still a bit of fat I’d like to melt away tho.
I’m planning to do my second treatment this week. I’ll keep y’all posted about how it looks and any swelling that happens with round 2.

Today’s the day!!! Round 2 of Kybella. I’m really excited because I’ve already seen changes. I’ll keep you all updated on the downtime.
The Kybella Project: December 21st, 2017
Holy Hannah! It’s swollen!
Ok, so full disclosure, I did a little more than last time because it was so good the first time! And you all know I love to experiment on myself!
We will see what it looks like tomorrow.
The Kybella Project: December 22nd, 2017
I think it looked worse yesterday, right after I did it. Everyone around here seems to agree.
Great! Now it’s all getting smaller from here!!!
The Kybella Project: December 25th, 2017
So it’s much less swollen, but still noticeable. No worries. Santa will be bringing me a more defined chin in about a month!!!
The Kybella Project: December 30th, 2017
It’s been about 10 days since my second treatment. I am not expecting results for another 4 weeks or more. Right now I still see and feel a little swelling no one else seems to notice. It feels numb over some spots, and a little sensitive when I press hard in others. Overall a pretty easy recovery period. Now the waiting...
The Kybella Project: January 14th, 2018
I’m about to go in for an ER shift.
It’s been just over 3 weeks since my second treatment. It’s getting smaller!!! It feels a little sore in certain spots, and sometimes it feels itchy, like it’s healing. From here out it should be getting continually smaller and smaller, and I’m excited to see the end results. I’ll keep you posted!!!
The Kybella Project: January 23rd, 2018
Omg it’s already tightening up! It hasn’t finished its job yet either!
The Kybella Project: January 24th, 2018
